Client:Activision | Infinity Ward
2019's Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare might just change the game industry. Again. In 2009, Modern Warfare solidified gaming in mainstream culture. It made "Call of Duty" a household name. It created a community that turned games into a spectator sport and its single player campaign mode immersed players in an unforgettable narrative. Now, a decade later, and with Blur's help, developer Infinity Ward aims to advance interactive storytelling even further. Together we shaped 23 minutes of character-driven cutscenes that use high-fidelity CG to weave together gameplay chapters in a compelling, "Zero Dark Thirty" style story. (This is Activision's story trailer that features some of the work.) The characters and drama feel real, and unlike watching a movie, the audience can step inside the experience.
